Jobact acquired by award winning consultancy - First People Solutions Group

JOBACT Petrochem Ltd was acquired by First People Solutions, one of the fastest growing recruitment and HR consultancies in the UK, in a £4million deal on Friday 12th October.

 

First People Solutions Group is a total solutions recruitment and HR consultancy with extensive technical, engineering and construction recruitment businesses.

 

This exciting new venture has created a powerful consolidation of three reputable technical divisions, JOBACT Petrochem, First People Technical and First People Tudor producing one of the largest and most experienced specialist oil and gas recruitment teams in the UK. 

 

This amalgamation enables us to offer additional benefits to all our clients, candidates and contractors through new services and further enhances our total solutions capabilities throughout the Oil and Gas, Aviation, Construction, Civil Engineering, Petrochemical, Pharmaceutical and Rail industries.

 

In addition First People Tudor (formally Tudor Personnel recruitment consultancy) which focuses on providing piping and design contractors within the oil and gas industry across the UK and internationally, will further compliment our instrumentation piping and electrical specialism. 

 

The acquisition is predicted to take the First People Solutions Group (FPSG) turnover to over £70m in 2008 and is in line with the company’s ambitious growth strategy, which has seen additional offices open in London, Glasgow and Manchester over the past year. 

 

Our staff at Jobact will remain unchanged and continue to provide the same outstanding service to our clients, working alongside the team at First People Solutions.

FPSG provides recruitment solutions to the full business services sector, across a full range of vertical markets including IT, sales & marketing, banking & finance, contact centre, accountancy, business support, HR and health & social care and has seen substantial growth in all markets over the last year.
